JWM Support - Supported Living Services

Overview

JWM Support provides 24-hour high-quality support alongside accommodation for a range of service users with complex and diverse needs, through a person-centered approach. The aim of the service is to provide a safe and homely environment that promotes empowerment, independence and choice, whilst enhancing the persons’ daily living skills, enabling them to move on to a less supported setting or to live happy and fulfilling lives in their own homes, with their own tenancies.

We provide safe, well located and well managed accommodation and comprehensively trained, experienced and committed people. Management and staff have a great deal of experience working with individuals with autism, brain injuries, learning disabilities, Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), forensic needs, mental health needs and those who present with behaviours that may challenge. Our support operates 08:00 to 22:00 7 days a week, as well as a Waking Night or Sleep from 22:00 to 08:00 to meet the needs of those we work with. We also provide management on call services for out-of-hours care and safeguarding cover. Every person will have a room they can secure with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and chair. This also includes Wi-Fi internet access for education, job seeking, building and maintaining social networks and recreation. We take great pride in ensuring people have a safe, decent and stable place to call home from which to build the skills they need to progress to full independence.

We have highly trained key workers and support staff who provide support – generally a minimum of 5 hours per week – inspiring engagement and responding to service users’ needs as they work through their co-authored support plans. We work in a person-centred way, which means that our support and care is completely bespoke, and perfectly matched to the unique needs, preferences and aspirations of each individual.
