Housing For Women Experiencing Domestic Abuse - Umuada

Overview

Umuada is a specialist, emergency, supported housing project for women fleeing domestic abuse. We prioritise referrals for Black and Minority Ethnic women and their children.
How we can help
You will have a named keyworker who will support you with every step of your journey as well as a children's worker to help with support around your children.
We have groups we run as well as coffee mornings and celebrations of special events such as Christmas and Eid.
We rely on you to help us to make changes and improvements to the service so will invite you to feedback as part of house meetings held monthly.
Accommodation
We have a communal refuge in a secure location with gated access as well as CCTV covering all areas of the main refuge. We also have properties in the local community for women and children who may be ready for a lower level of support.
