Overview

7am - 9pm and 9pm -7am

Helping Hands Team Ltd is a company providing individualised packages of care for 18+ adults and Families with children that require extra support. Our services allow Person Centred Care and include personal care (CQC regulated), social inclusion and cleaning services to people in their homes and communities. We support individuals who have mental health related issues, learning disabilities, physical or sensory disabilities and the care of older people to allow them to continue to live in their own homes.

Helping Hands Team Ltd work alongside Bassetlaw NHS, Bassetlaw District Council and Social Services. We offer support for individuals who are either on direct payments or privately paying. We are committed, and compassionate and believe in ‘Putting People First’

We strive to provide a Continuity of Care to service users and enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible. Duties will include assisting people with the following activities with respect for their dignity, privacy and independence as far as practical. The service is available over 24 hours, so workers need to be available to work evenings and weekends to reduce and prevent social exclusion.

Helping Hands Team Ltd provides individualised packages of care and support to people in the community including personal care and household management which can include support with Finances, bills etc. We also help to support a clients access into the community by providing a social inclusion service ensuring they do not become isolated. The service is aimed at individuals who have mental health, learning disabilities and carers who are assessed as eligible for a personal budget, however individuals who wish to pay privately for their support are also welcomed. Helping Hands Team Ltd aims to provide personalised services that promote service users choice and decision making. Services need to be flexible enough to respond to changing needs of service users. Improve quality of life for our service users by supporting those we work with to achieve outcomes.

The strategy is organised around three key themes. These are:

  • Health and wellbeing;
  • Participation in society;
  • Access to services;

Socially excluded people are often isolated, and find it difficult to access services. Services may be too expensive, difficult to travel to, or they may lack the skills and abilities needed to access some services. This theme aims to improve access to services for all individuals and groups, providing people with a variety of different methods and offering support to vulnerable groups who may otherwise struggle to access services.

Helping Hands Team Ltd believe in providing a truly personalised service where all aspects of support are determined by the needs and wishes of the service user. We don’t believe that a single model of provision is right for the 21st century.
