Helping at Home is a family-run, relationship-led domiciliary care provider based in Newark, supporting older people and adults who need extra help at home (including people living with dementia, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments). We care for your loved one as if they were our own family and we’re your extended team, so you don’t have to do this alone.

We provide personal care and practical support built around the person’s routines, preferences and goals. Consistency matters, so you’ll see familiar faces wherever possible, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

Who the service is for

• Adults aged 18+ (including older people)
• People needing support due to age, frailty, dementia, disability, or sensory impairment
• Family carers who need reliable support or respite

• Personal care: washing, dressing, toileting/continence, mobility support, getting up/going to bed
• Medication support: prompting and assistance (as assessed)
• Meals and hydration support
• Domestic support: shopping, laundry, light housework, meal prep
• Companionship and wellbeing support
• Support to attend appointments (as arranged)

Our Office is open Monday- Friday for any new care enquiries 9am-5pm.

£31- Per House Standard Personal Care Rate
£25.50- Per 45 minutes Standard Personal Care Rate
£17- Per 30 minutes Standard Personal Care Rate
40p- Travel. to / from medical appointments and other similar travel
£2.50- Per visit travel fee
Bank Holiday Charge- 1.5 times standard rate
24th, 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January- 2 times standard rate
