Overview
I’m an Ofsted registered Childminder.
I have been in childcare for 17 years working in an Early years setting and for 10 of those years I worked at a Catholic school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
I live with my Husband who is a Butcher at our local Morrison’s and we have been married for 12 years.
We have two cats who love to sleep all day upstairs or in the sun outside.
I offer a large playroom with activities for all ages and stages of development. My setting has a nice balance of everyday objects to play and explore and plastic toys with a particular purpose. Children in my care will learn through play!
We love to plan messy play activities and being outside.
We have a national trust pass, so we will be exploring all of the time and attend our local Forest school.
I have two fabulous assistants, Hannah and Jan who I’ve known for over 17 years.
We all currently hold paediatric FirstAid certificate. And are up to date with our Safeguarding training and currently all hold a certificate as a designated safeguarding lead.

In the past I have worked with children with SEND. I have also helped parents and other settings to seek a diagnosis for their child. I have previously been the Language Lead at the school I worked at before Childminding and I had referred many children for Speech and language support.
