Friends of Sharphill Wood

Overview

Sundays approx monthly

We are volunteers who look after Sharphill Wood, two miles south of Nottingham. Membership is free to all. Sharphill wood is on the southern edge of the Nottingham conurbation and is a Local Nature reserve owned by Rushcliffe Borough Council.

We help to maintain the wood, both for the benefit of visitors and for the plants and animals in the wood. We run monthly work parties on a Sunday morning and welcome new volunteers. For further information, please check out our website
