Overview
Fountaindale has a long history of supporting children and young people aged 3 to 18 who experience profound and multiple learning needs, complex physical and medical needs and sensory needs.
At Fountaindale we are passionate that every day matters for children and have the child and family at the heart of everything we do.
Our belief that it ‘takes a village to raise a child’ is one whereby we walk the path alongside our students and families to ensure they do not feel alone or without support from the range of multi-disciplinary therapists that we have access to.
Fountaindale School became part of the award winning Nexus Multi Academy Trust in September 2022.
Curriculum
Our curriculum content is separated into our Key Ideas which underpin all our teaching and learning, supported by our Big Ideas. The Big Ideas are a set of six more relatable subjects, allowing our young people to learn simple concepts on which they can build knowledge and understanding:
