Forget Me Notts - Activities For People With Dementia

Overview

Tuesdays, 10.30 AM - 12.00 PM

Free sport and social sessions for people living with dementia and their carers.
Forget Me Notts is Trent Bridge Community Trust's Dementia-based project. These weekly sessions provide the opportunity for social and sporting activities for those living with dementia and their carers, working to reduce social isolation, encourage physical activity and provide support to those directly and indirectly affected by dementia.
A typical session involves a mixture of social activities like bingo, a weekly quiz and chat, sporting activities including golf, indoor bowls, indoor curling, dance based exercise, and chair exercise, as well as the opportunity to connect with individuals in a similar situation and professionals in the field of dementia.
