Tuesdays, 5.30pm-7.30pm || Fridays, 10am-12pm || Saturdays, 11am - 1pm
The Meadows Foodbank and Pantry operates in the Meadows area of Nottingham, and is located at the Bridgeway Hall Methodist Mission, Bridgeway Centre, Arkwright Walk, The Meadows, Nottingham NG2 2JD.
The Foodbank
The Meadows Foodbank is one of the largest in the Nottinghamshire area and provides 3-day emergency food parcels to those in need. We are open Tuesday 5.30pm-7.30pm, Friday 10am-12noon, and Saturday 11am-1pm.
Anyone is welcome to drop into our sessions for a hot drink and a chat, but to obtain a food parcel, before attending, you will need an official foodbank voucher from one of our registered charity partners. To find out more about the agencies that can issue vouchers and how you can get help, please see here.
Once you have been issued with a voucher, you can bring this voucher to the foodbank and exchange it for a food parcel. Most Fridays we are also supported by a fantastic team from Bestwood Advice Centre, who can provide support and guidance on benefits, housing, debt and welfare issues.
The Pantry
The Meadows Pantry is open for registered local members only every Thursday 10am-12noon. Members pay £5 per week and can choose for themselves a basket of products which include ambient, fresh, chilled and frozen food. For more information on the Meadows Pantry, please see their website Nottingham Meadows Pantry
