Fledgelings Preschool provides a welcoming and stimulating environment where children aged 2–4 years learn through curiosity, play, and exploration. Our experienced and qualified staff offer high-quality care for both funded and non-funded children.
Situated within the grounds of Dunham on Trent Primary School, we offer flexible morning, afternoon, and full-day sessions. We have created a bespoke curriculum which is supported by a wide range of resources and play-based activities that promote children’s development and enjoyment of learning. Our outdoor shelters enable children to access outdoor provision in all weathers.

Dietary needs
We are happy to accommodate all dietary requirements offering a varied snack choice which can be adapted where necessary. Children are welcome to stay for a hot school dinner or bring sandwiches from home.
Special needs (children)
Children with additional needs are fully supported by our experienced staff team. We have accessible facilities, including a disabled access ramp and toilet, and regularly review and adapt our learning environment to ensure greater accessibility for all children.
We work in close partnership with parents and carers, using a multi-agency approach where appropriate, to ensure every child's individual needs are met. Fledgelings Preschool has a qualified SENCO, supported by a team of practitioners with direct experience of working with children with additional needs. We are also able to access further professional advice and specialist resources, and always value working collaboratively with families.
