Feel Good Gardens CIC

Overview

Supervised work sessions run every Tuesday 10.30-2.30

Feel Good Gardens is a beautiful and friendly community garden at Forestry Holdings, next door to Sherwood Pines in North Nottinghamshire.

We run regular growing sessions at our 3 acre site, and offer opportunities to get involved at many levels - gardening in the polytunnel, pottering around our cut flower area, learning how to grow vegetables in raised beds, learning about the wormery and the beehive, or simply socialising and observing the wildlife.

We grow all sorts of produce - fruit, flowers and vegetables. Where possible we also do cookery and craft sessions so we can all learn what to do with our lovely produce.

Times and availability

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks.

Contact

Forestry Holdings is situated off the B6030 between Kings Clipstone and Sherwood Pines. If using a Sat Nav please bear in mind that the postcode will take you to Sherwood Pines, and Forestry Holdings is actually the next turning off the B6030 as you go towards Kings Clipstone.

Forestry Holdings is a private road, so please drive slowly as you are likely to encounter all kinds of wildlife on the lane down to the site (deer, rabbits, squirrels, pheasants and so on). Some of the local residents also have dogs.

Feel Good Gardens is about a third of a mile down the lane on the right - you will see a portacabin, please take the second gate into the car park.
