Overview
Ducklings is a private day setting that offers childcare from ages 3 months to 5 years.
We have a range of qualified staff who bring their knowledge and passion to the setting. Our team are full of energy and bring the excitement to every day. We enjoy singing, dancing and playing out in the garden as well as taking trips out of the setting.
We have an onsite cook who prepares all meals fresh daily and also carries out activities with the children to help prepare snacks and bake.
We have an exciting literacy programme where we encourage sight reading from birth, this is called Ducklingo and all of the children love to join in.
We offer extra curricular activities to help your child/ children grow and develop further and help prepare them for school and beyond.

For those wanting 30 hours free funding we offer this on a stretched (50 week) basis which is equivalent to 22.8 free hours per week to be taken on a Monday 10 hours between 7.30 and 6pm /Friday 8 hours 7.30-3.30 plus 4.8 hours where the nursery manager deems appropriate and according to best fit ratios in the room.
For those just wanting the 15 hours free funding we offer this on a stretched (50 week) basis which is equivalent to 11.4 free hours per week to be taken on a Monday 10 hours between 7.30 and 6pm /Friday 1.4 hours where the nursery manager deems appropriate and according to best fit ratios in the room.
(the registration fee is voluntary if you are only taking free spaces )
We do not take children who are splitting funding with another setting on the free hours only pathway. You cannot take a combination of funded / private paid spaces if you choose the Completely free pathway
