The Down's Syndrome Association is the only organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland which supports people with Down's Syndrome at every stage of life.

Down’s syndrome is a genetic condition that results in some level of learning disability and a range of physical characteristics. Down’s syndrome is one of the most common causes of learning disability.

About one baby in every thousand is born with the condition.
