Deaf Connections Project

Overview

Monday - Fridays

Deaf Connections Project

The project has been set up to bring Deaf/Hard of hearing/Deafblind and families together to discuss things that are important to them and to make a difference to their lives in Nottinghamshire.

What we do

  • Find out what Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Deafblind and families love about their community
  • Organise coffee mornings and find out what ideas they have for organising activities and projects
  • Provide opportunities for learning new skills for example; skills to develop good mental health and wellbeing
  • Create better information networks through social media for example Facebook, Nottinghamshire Deaf Society website, etc
  • Support with signposting and information sharing
