At Connect House we genuinely care about the little things. Our staff team are committed to the provision of good quality care and make every effort to ensure peoples individual needs are met.
Our Approach
We place a focus on developing our home and service to reflect what is considered to be the gold standards in health and social care and have used many examples of what is considered best practice to underpin our approach to care. These include participating in the Gold Standard Framework for End of Life Care, adopting Professor Tom Kitwood's Flower Approach for personhood and using a Biopsychosocial model of care which focusses on considering biological, psychological and socio-environmental factors. We have embraced a Montessori approach to dementia care and developed our amazing Well-Being Team.
Our Suites
Our suites are two very different spaces as they serve two very different purposes. Both support up to 37 individuals receive care and treatment. In addition to our suites we also have a central hub which currently houses our Connect Corner Store selling toiletries, sweets and snacks, small gift items and day to day purchases. We are also in the process of creating our Connect Railway Carriage which will be perfect for afternoon cream teas in the Summer!

Connect House is set in the residential area of Basford close to shops, parks and a little further a field, Nottingham City Centre. We have good transport links and are a short 5 minute walk from Nottingham City Hospital.
