The market, which opened in 1981, is ideally located on the main shopping street in Clifton. With the local Library, Cornerstone Health Centre, Post Office and Leisure Centre all being situated along the same street the Market complements the local facilities perfectly. Being well served by local public transport and road links the area is a focal point for the surrounding communities. There are approximately 40 stalls selling a wide assortment of goods, including every kind of fresh produce, crafts, clothing as well as everyday essentials.
