Church House Day Nursery

We do a meeting with parents to go over information and fill in forms for approx 1 hour at the nursery.
We then offer 2 - 3 settling in visits where you are allowed to join them for the first visit. This is again around 1 hour. The last two visits are for the child to attend on their own. These are usually for a couple of hours each.
These are all offered for free as part of the settling in process.
We then offer staggered starts where you have the flexibility to have your child attend for part sessions building to their full sessions. For example if booking 3 days, they may begin by doing a week of 3 mornings then a week of two mornings and one full day etc. You will only be charged for the sessions they attend during the staggered start.

We like to communicate you all parents each day when you come to collect your child. A member of staff will pass on the messages from the day, talking about the things that the children have been doing.
We send out emails each week detailing activity plans and sharing photos of the children doing these activities.
We provide reports on the children's learning and development during their time in each room, along with two year progress reports and an 'All about Me!' report for sharing with the school when they leave us.
We invite parents to come in or telephone at any time talk over their child, things they are learning, their levels of development or any concerns they may have, such as a change in their sleep or behaviour.
We also promote a 'Partnership' approach and like parents to share with us the children's learning and achievements at home. For example when sharing the weekly activities if they have had a go at home, they will let us know or share photos of things they have been doing.
