Open Monday-Thursday all year round (apart from my personal holidays)

My name is Christal Turner. I am 38 years old. I am a friendly, fun and positive person. I live in Sutton-In-Ashfield with my Husband Mark and our two children Olivia (13) and Jack (9).
I have been a childminder for over three years. Early this year (2024) I was graded outstanding in my Ofsted inspection. Before setting up my own child minding business I worked as a Nursery teacher in local primary schools for 15 years. My setting is called Little Sunshines.
At Little Sunshines every child will have their time to shine. I aim to provide a home from home experience with a twist of Nursery too. The best of both.
We live in a semi-detached house, with a spacious purpose built downstairs playroom and toilet/shower room. Our garden is safe and secure. We enjoy going out in our local community, visiting parks, the library and play groups.
My secure knowledge of child development and the EYFS will enable me to support and extend your child's learning whilst following their individual interests. I will always follow your child's lead, learning is better when it starts from the child.

Age Range: 9 months - 4 years, Holiday care for children aged 4+
