Hello, my name is Cherine and my childcare and early education service is called Little Bookworms. I am based in the Aspley area. I am a mum of two beautiful children and have experience working with children from all different age ranges.
I offer a warm, safe, loving, home from home environment for your little ones to learn and grow. I promote children's learning and development through new experiences, planned activities and self-initiated play.
I love reading and children's books is a passion of mine. I like to encourage a love of books in children of all ages through all kinds of fun book inspired adventures indoors and outdoors! It is through my love of reading stories that Little Bookworms Childcare was born.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, to promote children's development whilst getting to know each child's individual needs and tailoring activities to suit their needs. I am qualified at Level 3, the Early Years Educator Diploma.
I specialise in providing early learning for pre-school children and babies/toddlers. Funded hours for 2 - 4 year olds is available.

My home-from-home childcare setting includes a cosy reading corner, a large selection of toys and games for children of all ages and a generous sized garden with a purpose-built mud-kitchen and playhouse. It is the kind of setting that children don't want to leave at the end of the day because they are having so much fun!
Children love to explore indoors and outdoor activities in safe comfort. Toys and other play resources are within easy reach so children of an appropriate age can choose whatever sparks their interest. I ensure children regularly visit local green spaces such as a local country park where they can enjoy the world around them.
I am fortunate to be employed by a company called @Home Childcare, an Ofsted registered home-based childcare network. This means I am supported to provide a safe, nurturing childcare service where children can learn, play and develop. The support includes regular visits, training and annual inspections to ensure the the quality of the care and early education I provide is of a high standard.

My children go to a school out of area so I can only offer nursery pickup right now. I can offer a wraparound service to children who attend my children's school.
