Hi, I'm Cherie. Welcome to Hunny Bunny's Childcare!

I'm an Ofsted Registered Childminder in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. I am fully insured and Paediatric First Aid trained. I offer a welcoming, homely and educational setting, ensuring the comfort, safety and well-being of all children within my care.

I hold 12 years+ Childminding Experience, working with children aged 0 to 11 years. I hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Early Years Care and Education and previously worked with children aged 1 to 8 years old in nurseries and schools. I also have my own two young children.

Open 8.30am/9am-5pm Tuesday - Thursday, for EYFS children and 3pm-5pm Monday to Friday, for afterschool collections. Bank transfers, Childcare Vouchers, 15 & 30 Hours Funding and Tax-Free Childcare Payments are all accepted.

I provide age-appropriate resources and equipment and have an activity room and a secure garden in which to explore a variety of educational activities. Activities and outings are planned in accordance with the EYFS and children's interests, aiding their next steps of development

Packed lunches and milk/formula must be provided from home. Snacks can be supplied for children aged over 1 year, or you may opt to supply your own (a provision fee is chargeable on funded days). Filtered drinking water will be provided throughout the day

Outings to local playgroups, parks and soft play centres are provided during school term time. Outings to local country parks, adventure parks, farms and the cinema are provided during school holidays (entry charges may apply).

Daily updates and Observations are recorded online via the Family App for under 5's, allowing parents/carers to log in and digitally interact with their child's progress.

I network with other local Childminders, and we work together to provide emergency/holiday/short term cover, if circumstances allow.
