Brierley Forest Primary and Nursery School is a large mainstream primary school serving the families in the Ashfield district of Nottinghamshire and primarily on the Carsic estate in Sutton - in - Ashfield.
There are approximately 500 pupils on roll. Of these pupils, 19% are on the school’s SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) register. We are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school. We therefore actively engage with the school’s ethos and aim of fabulous, successful learning that supports the needs of all learners and involves each and every child in all aspects of school life.
Our aim is to prepare all our children for a successful journey into adulthood. Teaching staff practice high quality teaching and differentiation as a first response to ensure all individual pupils’ needs are met.
