About My Childminding Setting

I am a registered childminder offering a warm, friendly home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and cared for. My setting is based in my family home and provides a calm, nurturing space with age-appropriate toys and activities to support children’s learning and development.

My Ethos

My childcare ethos is based on kindness, respect and supporting each child as an individual. I believe children learn best when they feel secure and valued. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and support children’s development through play, everyday experiences and positive relationships.

Settling In

I offer a gentle, flexible settling-in process to help children feel comfortable and confident in my care. I work closely with parents to understand each child’s routines, interests and needs, making the transition into childcare as smooth as possible.

A Typical Day

Children enjoy a mix of child-led play and planned activities, both indoors and outdoors. Activities may include creative play, stories, songs, role play, sensory play and outdoor exploration. Routines are flexible to suit each child’s needs and encourage independence.

Additional Information

I provide a small, personal setting with lots of individual attention and regular communication with parents. My aim is for children to feel happy, settled and excited to come to my setting.

Age Range: 6 months - 5 years

Opening Times

Open all year. My holidays are taken during school holidays.
