Overview
The Poplars is a registered home which provides 24 hour care for adults with a diagnosis of Autism and Aspergers Syndrome. Autism East Midlands are a specialist Autism Provider. The Poplars are registered to provide support for Five people.
Eligibility Criteria: Autism East Midlands provides support for adults on the autistic spectrum. Potential to accept those 16+ if service matches need.
Referral procedure: Although each individual situation varies slightly, normally the process is:
An assessment of the person will identify that the person:
- meets Autism East Midlands eligibility criteria.
- needs accommodation and support.
- what the priority of need is - the timescales, if the need is urgent or whether they could wait for a short period.
