Ark Day Nursery

Overview

We are a busy private Day Nursery based in the Mapperley Park area, we are open 7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday and we are open 51 weeks of the year, only closing for one week over the Christmas period and for the bank holidays.
We have a Baby & Toddler room for children aged between 6 weeks to 2 years, we have a Tweenie room for children aged 2 years old and we have a Pre-school room for all children aged between 3- 5 years. We follow the EYFS which is the curriculum for the under fives, providing a variety of different activities and challenges for the children to experience and explore. Each child will have their own key worker who is responsible for the Childs learning journey and helping them to achieve their milestones within the seven areas of development as stated in the EYFS outcomes.
We offer a variety of different sessions for parents to choose from which will hopefully suit their needs.

Local Offer

The Local Authority and Nottingham City Day Nurseries and Playgroups have worked together to develop Nottingham City Schools Provision Maps. These maps provide a framework for Early Years provision in Nottingham and show interventions that it is reasonable for settings to provide to pupils identified with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Our setting makes provision for pupils with SEND in line with this framework. The detail of the provision will vary depending on the needs of the children that attend.
The provision maps may be found at the link below.
For further details about the setting's provision please contact the setting directly asking for their SENCO.
