As part of the next stage of the national vaccination programme, Nottinghamshire County and Nottingham City Councils will be working with health and voluntary sector partners to support carers of clinically vulnerable people.
The vaccine roll out to carers will be done in stages and will take place over the next few weeks. It will follow the national guidance around vaccinating vulnerable priority groups.
Carers may receive a letter with further information and details of how to book their vaccination. If you are contacted, it is important that you take advantage of the opportunity to be vaccinated to protect yourself and the person that you care for.
More details will be circulated when they become available.
Carers in both Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County can register with the Nottinghamshire Carers Hub by calling or 0115 824 8824 or by email: nottinghamshirehub@tuvida.org which provides free, confidential and personalised information, advice and support for carers of all ages including telephone and online support.
The County Council is supporting health partners by managing requests for information and assistance related to the vaccine rollout for county and city residents. If you have any questions, please contact enquiries@nottscc.gov.uk or call 0300 500 80 80.
