Wellbeing @ Work Introduction and Toolkits

Introduction

The Wellbeing @ Work Scheme aims to provide small, medium and large sized organisations with a structured opportunity to promote and enable better health and wellbeing in the workplace and is open to all organisations regardless of industry (or sector).

It acts as an umbrella for a range of public health and wider health determinant related priorities to be implemented across our adult working age population and their wider families and peers.

The scheme aims to be flexible to suit all organisations but offers a structured approach to support people in improving their own health and well-being - making health ‘everybody’s business’

The Award Scheme comprises of 4 award attainment levels across 4 themed areas with a tiered approach to difficulty. Organisations can take part at any level and maintain where is appropriate for example a small business may only have the infrastructure to achieve bronze or silver, a large organisation may come in at Silver or Gold because they already have a lot in place.

There is an introduction document that offers local organisations a brief overview explaining how to become part of the free Wellbeing @ Work Scheme in Nottinghamshire. The MoU must be submitted to register your organisation to the scheme.
