Stroke ability

Available at a Leisure Centre near you in Nottinghamshire.

What is Strokeability?

Strokeability is a gentle exercise programme specifically designed  with, and for people living with stroke. The courses is led by qualified and experienced leisure instructors in local Leisure Centres, or other Community Centres.

When will the course run?

Courses are available on various day and times to any affected by stroke and living in Nottinghamshire.  There are currently programmes in:

 Newark & Sherwood

Ashfield

Mansfield

Gedling

 We are hoping to provide more programme in areas such as Hucknall, Rushcliffe and Broxtowe

 Transport is unfortunately not provided so you will need to be able to travel to your local venue independently.  There are community transport options which you can be directed. If you need help with moving from a vehicle into the building, and/or help getting around the building you must bring a carer/friend/family member with you.
