Sally Dore - Assistant Director of Quality and Personalised Care, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG

Dear nursing home manager/owner/quality improvement/workforce – HR  leads,

Would you like an alternative to agency nurses at lower cost? - We are scoping possibilities and need care home providers to help us to make this happen…

If there is a second wave of Covid-19, do you want to be able to access nurses who can make a real difference because they are trained to understand the support you need?

  • NHS Professionals, the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and care home providers are looking at possibilities to support care homes in Nottinghamshire with a nurse bank resource to supply high quality nurses at a cost that is much more favourable for your budget than your current agency cost. This is a new and exciting opportunity for us to work together to make a real difference.
  • NHS Professional nurses will be available to cover shortfalls that you may have during periods of nurse recruitment or sickness when you have no choice but to rely on an agency.

This offer is in response to pressures that nursing homes felt during the recent pandemic - We want  to plan to be able to help in the event that we encounter similar pressures in the coming winter months.  We want to meet with anyone interested on Wednesday 9th September for 1 hr at 3.30pm via MST to start the conversations for this exciting piece of work… we need you!

To get involved or just to learn more – please get in touch with Donna Nussey –  Tel: 07747442284 no later than WEDNESDAY 09/09/20 – Don’t miss out!
