Childminder Training
Childminders need to complete pre-registration training before applying to Ofsted.
The training should include a pre-registration Introduction to Childminding course and 12-hour paediatric first-aid training.

The introduction to Childminding course is delivered by a number of training providers in Nottinghamshire. These can be accessed via:

Ofsted will only process your application to become a Childminder when you have completed both training courses or have told Ofsted the dates when you will have done this.
