NHS Registered Nurse (RN) and Care Worker supply – Indemnity arrangements
We have organised access to an emergency NHS workforce through Sherwood Forest Hospitals. This includes Care Workers and a limited number of RNs and will be available to work shifts in all Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County (including Bassetlaw) care homes. The offer can be accessed via 0300 300 3000, only when you have exhausted your current options which MUST include staffing agencies.
To take advantage of this workforce offer we need you to confirm that you have full indemnity in place. Please read the attached letter and complete the form contained in it, to ensure that INDEMNITY is in place through your organisation’s insurance arrangements, should you need to request access to this emergency workforce cover.
NEW Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Referral Form – Available 1st July 2020
For Nottinghamshire County Council Contracted providers only
The new DoLS Referral Form includes a ‘Checklist’ for you to indicate the Purpose of the Standard Authorisation. Please see attached for guidance on how to complete the new form.

The PCDC are broadening their online training range and we are looking to find out whether the following topic is of interest:
The Online Wound Care session will cover:
- Skin structure
- Acute traumatic wounds
- Dressing options
NB: The maximum number of attendees per session is 20 and the cost per person will be £45.
