Tracey Price
My name is Tracey Price and I have become a registered childminder. I am reliable and a very trustworthy person who is easy to approach. I love children and can’t wait to start a career which I think will be very rewarding. Working in partnership with parents in my opinion is very important and I aim to have good communication with parents/carers. I have parent/carer friendly policies and procedures which are available to look at anytime, these are followed in my setting. The children I look after are paramount, and there individual needs and development will be met through observations, planning and through their ‘all about me’ (which will be filled in on their first visit). Equality and diversity are shown throughout my house and I have bought toys to meet the needs of the children. I have 3 children; Keeley who works along side me, Matthew and Ella. After leaving school I worked in care homes looking after the elderly. I loved my job but when my second child was born I found it difficult to get help with childcare. I started working as a dinner lady and did this for several years, before startign childminding.
