We support adults (18+) experiencing multiple disadvantage who are living in Nottingham City. We offer an individualised service including one to one support, groups and befriending.  We work together with people living with mental health issues, enabling them to believe that life can change for the better.

Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

This project is for people in and leaving secondary mental health services. 

For this project we accept referrals from workers including Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPN), psychiatrists, psychologists  and social workers.

The main focus of this project is to provide support to enable people to manage the challenges they may be facing.  This could include:

Mental health – this could be support to book and attend appointments, referrals and signposting to other specialist services

Debts – exploring the impact and source of debt, drawing up budget plans and support contacting specialised services for rights and advice with managing debt payments

Benefits – support with applications, contacting and liaising with services, attending assessments, and enabling people to manage this independently

Unsuitable housing – support with applications for grants and referrals for alterations, furniture or equipment etc., liaising with housing services

Social isolation – assessing people’s needs, supporting them to build a social life and become part of the community including attending our monthly groups (art, walking, pool and craft)

We are able to offer one to one support for up to 12 months.
