Abbeyfield Society
The Abbeyfield Society is a registered charity and currently has vacancies for anyone over the age of 55 years who would be interested in the supported housing that the company offers. Care packages can be put in place if they are required. Abbeyfield provide a 24 hour monitoring system in a friendly home from home, where our residents bring their own familiar furniture and belongings. The houses consist of communal areas and separate private, lockable bedsits all with en-suite shower rooms. Two meals a day are provided fresh by the house keeper on duty and each floor to the houses have a communal kitchen with breakfast items and refreshments provided. The Nottingham Houses also have a guest room each of which is available for prospective residents wishing to stay before they make the decision to move, family or friends wishing to visit or even a holiday stay. There is a small charge for this service but all meals are included.
