Able Radio was founded in 2006 by a group of volunteers passionate about improving the everyday lives of disabled people. The enterprise grew rapidly through demand and now plays a pivotal role within the disabled community.
Beyond on-air broadcasts, Able Radio engages with numerous organisations and individuals across the UK via training, outside broadcasts and remote satellite centres. Underpinning all activities are a team of dedicated volunteers, most living with a disability themselves.
You can listen to Able Radio on-line. Just visit the website and click the Listen Now icon. Or you can listen using a WiFi internet radio, which will allow you to tune in to literally thousands of internet stations.

Able Radio highlights events, achievements, accessibility and opportunity. They seek to entertain and inform, with a diverse music policy and talented team of on-air presenters. Although their studio base is in S E Wales, some of their input comes via remote presenters across the UK. There are opportunities for all to get involved both on and off-air.

Carers World - Carers World provides insights into the World of Carers with topical debate and news for the UK's 6 million who look after family members or friends. Carers World airs on Able each Saturday at 6pm, for you and the ones you love.
Shut Up and LISTEN! - This monthly music show is presented and performed by djs with learning disabilities.
