Kip McGrath Ashfield
The Kip McGrath Ashfield directors are Tasha and James Cotterill who are passionate about children achieving and succeeding in Maths and English. Each child is given a free assessment after which a tailor made learning programme is designed specifically to suit their needs. Lessons are 60 minutes in length and include one-on-one attention with a tutor, with over 40 years experience the Kip McGrath method promotes self-confidence and independence as well as securing progress.
We offer professional tuition in English and Maths to Primary, Secondary and older students in the Ashfield region. All of our tutors are fully qualified teachers, and hold full enhanced disclosure certificates.

Settling In
- How will you help children to settle into your setting?
- We can arrange pre-visits and meet the tutor times to help your child settle in. At our free assessment we can show you what the programme is like and you can have a look around the centre.
Progress
- How will you communicate with parents/carers about their child's progress?
- Verbal feedback is given after every session and approximately every 12 to 16 weeks a reassessment is carried out and the progress is fed back to parents.
