Food Bank - Trussell Trust Long Eaton and Sawley Christ Church Methodist
Food bank providing short-term emergancy support with food and basic provisions, support and advice for those in need.
We provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Access to the food bank is via food voucher which can only be obtained by referral.
Referrals need to be from an acknowledged third party professional or organisation such as the CAB, Job Centre Plus, SureStart, health practitioner or welfare agency. Contact the food bank directly by phone or email for details of how obtain a referral.
Once referred the voucher can be exchanged at the nearest food bank for an emergency food parcel.
