Special collection and bulky waste. Please complete the online form.
Costs: The first item will cost £18.00 and any additional items are charged at £8.75 each. If you have more than 10 items which need collecting you must get a quote from us - call 0115 981 9911 or complete the special collection quote form. Payment is taken at the time of booking using a credit or debit card. If you wish to pay by cheque please call us on 0115 981 9911. There are no concessionary rates. If you have a shed that needs collecting, please ring us for a quote as sheds are NOT charged at the above rate.
Collection day: On your chosen collection day your item(s) must be left for collection in a visible place at the front of your property from 7am.
What cannot be collected?: The special collections service does not collect commercial or industrial waste, builders' rubble, paving slabs, hazardous/chemical waste, pesticides, oils, and any items that are too large or heavy (e.g. pianos) to be safely lifted into our vehicles. Also, we cannot collect mirrored wardrobes, any glass items e.g. tables, doors, etc, or items classed as scrap metal, eg fridges, freezers, cookers, metal bed frames, washing machines or televisions.

Please note, there is no letterbox at this address, all mail must be sent to Rushcliffe Arena.
For planning enquiries: A duty planner is available to answer enquiries over the phone during opening hours.
We aim to see customers within 10 minutes of arrival, but this may not be possible at busy times. Face to face meetings can be arranged by appointment where necessary. If advice is sought on a specific development proposal, a formal process is in place to provide pre-application advice, this is a chargeable service, with some exceptions.

For housing enquiries: Housing advisors are available at the Rushcliffe Customer Service Centre for face to face housing enquiries during opening hours.
