The Village Day Nursery and Pre School - East Leake
The nursery is situated in the centre of East Leake, and was purpose built to provide a bright, homely, and secure environment. Uniquely, the day nursery is air conditioned throughout, providing a controlled environment for the areas created for the different age groups. The rooms have been set up to provide the children with an inviting environment.
We believe that the nursery setting is the third teacher. Our staff take great pride in providing a calm and wonder filled environment which is rich with learning opportunities. The nursery colour scheme throughout the setting is calming and natural; it is said that colour sets the mood of learning, which will consequently affect performance. By finding a balance of colour, we feel that we are on our way to achieving a sense of peace throughout the setting which enables the children to relax fully and feel content to explore and learn.
At The Village Day Nursery, we aim to provide the best start through the efforts of a well-motivated, caring and dedicated team. By securing parent partnerships, we aspire to grow well-rounded, caring and patient individuals who are motivated to keep achieving their potential during their next milestones in life. We hope to achieve this by providing a happy, safe and curious setting for children to learn to care and respect themselves, each other and our environment.
Aims and Objectives
As a childcare provider, our ambition is to spark the existing curiosity within the children in our care; by gathering their interests and providing in-depth activities in a variety of ways to ensure the children get the most out of the learning intention. We collaborate as a group, promoting a balance between a sense of belonging to the group as well as a strong sense of self.
