For young people aged 6-25 years in the East Midlands. Confidential, one-to-one counselling service for young people in the East Midlands. Also provides counselling to children who are facing exclusion or who have been excluded from school and young offenders. Referrals can be made by school welfare officers, health and social care professionals and from the children and young people themselves. Once a referral is received the person is seen within two to three weeks and the face-to-face sessions can take place in any setting where the person may feel the most comfortable. Sessions normally last for one hour and the counselling may last for a few sessions or continue over several months. Counselling is free for children and young people aged 6-18 years and people aged 19-25 years may be asked for a financial contribution if they are in employment.
