Settling In
- How will you help children to settle into your setting?
- In F1, we are delighted to offer places for 15 hour and 30 hour eligible families, and we can accept children from the term following their 3rd birthday. We take in new students 3 timer per school year – September (Autumn Term), January (Spring Term) and Easter (Summer Term). If you’re not entitled to 30 hours funding, you can purchase additional sessions for £15. Our nursery sessions are Morning 8.45am – 11.45am Afternoon 12.30pm – 3.30pm Lunch club is available from 11.45am to 12.30pm at £3.50 per day. F2 children (who start in the September before their 5th birthday) are invited to stay and play sessions in the summer before they start. They then have a gradual start to full time school.
Progress
- How will you communicate with parents/carers about their child's progress?
- We have parent's evening appointments available in the autumn and spring terms which are either on zoom or face to face. These give parents an opportunity to come and see their child's learning in school. For those children on the SEN register, some will have individual targets and parents will be invited to an additional meeting with their class teacher.
