Ganwick House is a residential care home designed to meet the challenging needs of adults with Autism and Severe Learning Disabilities. Located in rural surroundings in South Hertfordshire, residents are supported to access the local shops, community facilities such as leisure centres, restaurants, swimming pools etc.
Residents are supported to use the on site Activity Centre and attend the local special needs college and participate in courses such as Basic Living Skills, Arts, Painting, Dancing, Maths & English, etc.
Every resident will:
- Have a primary diagnosis of Autism and Severe Learning Disabilities.
- May have a secondary diagnosis of Mental Health or Learning Disability
- May exhibit Challenging Behaviour or have a Forensic History
