Therapeutic lifelong learning for people living with dementia, mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, enduring grief or end of life illnesses.
Much of my work involves textile crafts. For instance, supporting bereaved people in making memory quilts, using yarn, fabric and craft tools to facilitate reminiscence therapy for people living with dementia, supporting self esteem by teaching a sustainable textile craft skill to produce a piece of work to show off.
