I am an Ofsted registered child-minder, who received a 'Good' rating in my inspection, I provide a stimulating environment for children to enjoy and achieve, that promises to be fun and exciting. I offer health conscious home cooked meals and a school/nursery pick ups.
I have a childcare assistant (Dominic Robbins) who can assist me when needed. Dominic is CRB checked.
I have completed my training (IHP course) with Nottinghamshire County Council, Safeguarding Certificate and Paediatric First Aid Certificate with St John’s Ambulance, as well as having the necessary checks, references and insurances.
My Vision Statement
I aim to provide high quality personalised care that enables children to develop their full potential in an environment that is welcoming and inclusive.
I seek to offer your child a range of activities and experiences to learn and develop both at home and out in our local community, following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
I understand that choosing childcare is one of the most important decisions you will ever make and that each child/family is unique. I value meeting your individual concerns and hope to make the process as seamless as possible by forming positive relationships with you and your child.
Background Information
Anna Robbins – I have worked in education for the last 10 years. I have worked with a range of conditions which includes Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy and have been with the National Autistic Society since 2002 latterly as a Senior Teaching Assistant. I have worked across the Autistic Spectrum with regards to ability and have gained a vast knowledge of conditions. My role has involved daily communication with parents, delivering lesson plans, trips and implementing behaviour strategies. On returning to work after maternity leave, I felt like I didn’t find work enjoyable anymore as I missed Zach so I decided that it was a prefect opportunity for me to change career path.
My husband Dom and I have one child called Zach who is 3 in October 2012. He enjoys dancing, singing nursery rhymes and playing with other children. Zach also like cars and trains and loves Roary the racing car as well as Thomas the Tank Engine. Zach suffers from viral wheezing for which he has an inhaler that Dom and I are trained in using.
