Newstead Brass Band
The 30-piece band now performs at venues across the country with around 30 public concerts per year, often supporting local and national charities, as well as a range of brass band festivals and competitions. The band strives to provide a wide range of music, not only that which is traditionally associated with brass bands. Swing music from the 1940's (Miller) to the 21st Century (Buble) forms a popular part of the bands repertoire as well as scores from modern film blockbusters and chart classics from the last 25 years.
