For people affected by IBS in the UK. Information and support for people affected by Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Provides a Self Management Programme, factsheets and journals as well as a quarterly newsletter for members called Gut Reaction. The Helpline is staffed by trained nurses and offers support, advice and information. Volunteers and trustees operate IBS support groups in England and Scotland. Also has a network of befrienders, penfriends and telephone contacts. Membership benefits include an online symptom tracker, medical advice, a helpline, magazine and factsheets.
