Open Door1 Dementia Day Care Social Group and Sitting Service
Open Door 1 is a group for Social day care for anyone suffering from the effects of early-stage dementia or memory problems as we like to say. We offer a varied program of activities as well as friendship and chat sessions. We arrive at 10am and have a drink and toast. We then start our day to include seated and active sessions. Everyone is included no matter what their ability. Lunch is 12.30. We then have an afternoon session and then refreshments. Sessions end at 2.30pm
We operate 3 days per week in Ashfield and Mansfield 1 per week in Newark and Sherwood.
We now offer a sitting service for people who prefer to be in a group setting
