Leen Mill Pre-school Playgroup
We provide care and education for children aged 2 years to 4years 11 months. We have a room dedicated for our younger children with free flow access. The older children in the next school year are in our Upper Foundation Unit which is on the first floor and has a outdoor mezzanine area accessed from this room only. The setting has a interactive sensory room and a room dedicated to gross physical development.
As part of our staff team we have a qualified children's yoga teacher who carries out classes with children each week ,these are tailored to the age and development of the children. We strongly support children's emotional health and wellbeing and want to teach them breathing techniques so they can learn how to control emotions in different situations.
All of the staff are qualified to a minimum Level 3 and most have Level 4 Early Years Teaching qualifications. A staff member has a foundation degree. All staff have over 10 years experience across early years education and care.
