The service offers advice and assistance in the following; obtaining a diagnosis, community care assessments, carer's assessments, social support from the team and befrienders, assistance in obtaining the correct benefits, accessing further education and employment, finding suitable accommodation etc.
Services are provided for adults (from the age of 18 years) with a diagnosis (or suspected diagnosis) of Asperger syndrome, who do not have an additional learning disability.
Adults must reside in the county, and have had a community care assessment.
