Innova House CBIR is a residential service for acquired brain injury rehabilitation, supporting individuals aged between 18 and 65 years. This is a thirteen bed service with ensuite facilities and spacious bedrooms, three communal lounges, a spacious dining area, three bathrooms plus some en suite, a shower room and a rehabilitation kitchen.
Individuals that access this service are encouraged through ordinary life principles to engage in rehabilitation targets to enhance potential opportunity for future less dependent living. This is achieved by working closely with our team of specialist consultants, together with external professionals and our highly skilled and trained staff team.
Person centred planning is key to achieving a realistic and achievable progression route for the individual, where their needs and wishes are explored and promoted in a way that encompasses their best interests, risk probability and wellbeing.
Above all, Innova House CBIR aims to achieve a homely and safe environment, where the individuals using the service are happy and comfortable, the staff are welcoming and hospitable and visitors are encouraged to visit their relatives / friends and any time that is suitable for their loved one.
Services available to all residents include:
- spacious accommodation including bath, shower and WC
- four meals per day
- ergo therapeutic treatment
- physiotheraphy
- psychology appointments
- cultural activities and events, e.g., singing, music, craft and film time
- laundry service
- collection and delivery service
- errand service
- foot care and hairdressing
- houseduties and cleaning service
- personal assistance for banking, eating out and making appointments
- trips out, fun activities and events as well as holiday and time away support
