To provide professional, safe and confidential counselling and Psychotherapy to adults and young people by telephone, online and face to face.

8. We will maintain Indemnity Insurance of our business.
9. We will provide you with all information we hold about you if you request it in line with the DPA .
10. We will ensure our counsellors and psychotherapists have up to date DBS/CRB checks.
11. We will maintain our skills and proficiency by attending appropriate and professional training and monthly supervision
12. We will provide you with a contract of working together which will also give details of the complaints procedures

How can Psychotherapy and Counselling help?

Psychotherapy and counselling allows you to unburden yourself and gives you an opportunity to make sense of what's happening in your life. At Theaker Counselling we provide you with the space and time in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment to look at your experiences and come to terms with your feelings. As an experienced and qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist I will listen and support you to become empowered to find the strategies and ultimately the best choices for you and your future to enable you to face life's challenges in a healthier and happier way.

Qualifications and experience

I am a fully insured and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a Masters Degree in Counselling. I am a member of the BACP and listed on the BACP Register. I attend monthly supervision to ensure that the work I do is safe and effective for clients. I offer appointments by telephone or online. This works very well for many clients that either cannot leave the home to attend appointments or who prefer to discuss their issues from the comfort and convenience of their own home, at times that are suitable for them without the worry of travel or parking. Alternatively face to face appointments are available in Nottingham City Centre.

Initial appointments provide an opportunity for us both to assess if we feel comfortable working together and if I can help and support you. There is no obligation for you to continue after this initial meeting. Fees Face to face £40.00 per 50 minute session. Telephone and online appointments are £30.00 per 50 minute session Payment is accepted by cash, cheque and PayPal. I hope this provides you with the information you need.
